R&D at Dew-Point Catalyst is focused on speed development of quality new catalysts at competitive prices, using sustainable chemistries. The key mission of our R&D is to create value to our customers by developing and supplying innovative and sustainable catalytic solutions.

The R&D team works closely with marketing and technical services members. R&D functioning is harmonized with other functions such as production, projects and quality assurance through a cross functional platform within the company to harness resident knowledge and expertise for quick idea-to-market deployment.




R&D Centre is equipped with modern infrastructure covering the development spectrum all the way from lab scale to semi-commercial. The R&D team consists of dedicated, highly skilled scientists with diverse skills, who engage in new product development, product performance improvement, troubleshooting, manufacturing process improvement and etc.

Experts in catalyst industry working in Dew-Point have long-term cooperation with Dalian University of Technology; Tianjin University; Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences; ENN Energy Holdings Limited; Technology Center of North Huajin Chemical Industry Group Corporation, , and many other institutions and enterprises.



Dew-Point has a number of leading proprietary catalytic technologies which are at the international top level, including dehydrogenation of low carbon paraffins, such as propane dehydrogenation to propylene, isobutane dehydrogenation to isobutene and n-butane one-step butadiene catalysts. And significant breakthroughs have been made in the development and industrialization of various petrochemical catalysts and purifying additives such as solid phosphoric acid catalysts, low steam-to-oil ratio ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalysts, high-strength zinc oxide sulfur removal adsorbent, and fixed bed sulfur dioxide removal catalyst.
